This Week’s Best Episode! Working!! 12
June 22, 2010 on 5:31 am | In Updates | No CommentsInami and Takanashi’s relationship seems to be progressing nicely. We can tell Inami likes him, but does he like her…hard to tell with his constant misunderstanding of what others are feeling. Poplar is cute in her desire to be bigger than she is, sadly for her, it will not come to pass. She is stuck short weather she likes it or not. I can only hope they end it with a definite “choice” as to who he really likes. Does Takanashi come to realize feelings for Inami, or does he stick with his “cute little things” fetish. Inami notices this and that makes her even more insecure with him. Here’s hoping the date goes well….
This Week’s Best Episode! Working!! 11 & Angel Beats 11
June 14, 2010 on 4:46 am | In Updates | No CommentsI’m torn this week, No series stood head and shoulders above the rest. Out of them all, I enjoyed both Working!! and Angel Beats the most. On Working!!, Inami seems to only be keeping the man-phobia up as a way to keep Takanashi close to her. We do get to see her in some cute night wear. Popalar is going gaga over cross-dressing Kotari-chan…funny stuff.
On Angel Beats the new foe is turning NPCs into “shadow monsters” that will devour your soul and spit you back out as NPCs yourself. Yuri was on to Otanashi and Angel’s plan but did not call foul. She gave the rest of the SSS members the choice to decide which path to take for themselves. An unexpected handling of the situation to be sure. Everything is changeable via computers and monsters break up into 1’s and 0’s when shot…sure seems digital to me!
This Week’s Best Episode! Angel Beats 10
June 8, 2010 on 2:50 am | In Updates | No CommentsWe learn about Yui’s past in what turns out to be a quite emotional episode of Angel Beats. Angel and Otanashi plan to help Yui first as she seems to be the “easiest” since she is always happy. Turn’s out she has plenty she wants to do since she was paralyzed in real life. Otanashi and Angel work their way to filling her request until we get to the last one…To be married! Hinata mans up and says he will marry her. A whole lot of emotions are flowing in the exchange between the two of them, turning such a quick turn of events into something more. Having fulfilled all her regrets in life, Yui moves on and Hinata vows to help Otanashi help the rest of their friends. We get a cliffhanger at the end with some shadow attacking the members of the SSS club. Just for the sheer masterful way this episode goes from comedy to touching seriousness, all while beautifully drawn, makes Angel Beats 10 the best episode of the week.
This Week’s Best Episode! Working!! 09

Inami soo cute.
After taking in all the anime shows I watch , this week’s best episode is from Working!! The relationship between Mahiru and Takanashi are really developing now. He went as far as cross-dressing for her and stood up to her father for her. She is just too cute when she blushes not knowing how to react to it all.
The runner up for this week and a close second has to be Angel Beats! There is a plan in place and we will see how Otonashi and Tachibana help everyone to move on.

Merry Christmas and God bless to my anime viewing friends.
Cross Game
November 30, 2009 on 6:35 am | In Uncategorized | 1 Comment
Cross Game is 35+ episodes in to the series and it shows no signs of being any less awesome as the very first episode. This show is perpetually good. There is humor, excitement, love polygons and bittersweet memories all rolled into one very good show. For a show about baseball, there is very little baseball involved. It is just a backdrop that this masterpiece is being painted on. The characters all have strong personalities that often clash in realistic ways and have to be seen to be enjoyed. What I’m trying to say here is, this is a great show and you should be watching it. It’s as simple as that!
Bakemonogatari
August 2, 2009 on 6:47 am | In Bakemonogatari | No CommentsBakemonogatari is just straight up pure awesome win! Intellectually funny, crude and plain hillarious, if you like any of these then give it an honest try. The verbal abuse by Senjougahara is very addicting and probably not good for your health, but who cares when it’s this much fun! There may be on 30 farmes of animation in each episode but who care when the dialog is this darn good. If you don’t watch this, how will you ever know how a stapler is the next big thing(K-ON helped a little, Senjougahara stole it all to herself).
K-ON! Rocks!!!
June 19, 2009 on 5:54 am | In K-ON! | 4 CommentsI don’t know why I ever doubted KyoAni… K-ON turned out to be the best anime this season. If you have not given it a look, I strongly suggest you do. Right now! Mio is moe. Ui is waifu material. Yui is just plain fantastic and despite what some may say about her, she is the heart and soul of K-ON! The only problem is, 13 episodes are not nearly enough. More please!
Saki 3 – Blushing Moe!
April 22, 2009 on 4:23 am | In Saki | No CommentsWe start with Nodoka getting chastised by her father for staying up too late playing mahjong. Could it be that her father doesn’t really care for her playing the game? The student council president (or whatever) Hisa and Mako ditch student council to go sign up the club for the high school trials. There we meet what is sure to be the teams that the club will face. Each one seems ripe with personality. Back at the club, while watching Nodoka get really fired up in trying to win, Saki struts her stuff and wins the hand. Because she looks discouraged at losing so badly, Saki throws the next hand so Yuuki can win and have fun. This angers Nodoka – who storms out of the club! It’s funny how Kyoutarou, the only male in the club, is completely oblivious to any of the girls current feelings. They always take him by surprise. Welcome my friend to real life, it funny because it is so true. We guys have as much luck in reading women as we do reading instructions in an unknown language, it’s just impossible! Anyway… Saki gives chase to Nodoka, explaining to her about her family situation. Nodoka sure is a tsundere, always harsh on Saki, but blushing at her any chance she gets. Of course I’m probably misreading everything because I am a guy! Oh,well… Saki is still good fun. We end with a promise made by Saki and Nodoka to get to the nationals, and we also get the appearance of a mystery girl who seems to pack some elite mahjong skills of her own!
